College

College

South Bay Church supports two college ministries located at nearby universities: Pulse, at San Jose State University; and Core, at Santa Clara University. These groups are supported by South Bay Church, but are separate organizations.

Unplugged

Join us as we learn from pastors and speakers from all over the Silicon Valley, discuss real life issues, and develop authentic community with other college/post-college students to reach our generation with the message of Christ. Unplugged takes place every Friday night 7:00pm in the South Bay Church lobby. For more information, please contact Timothycsuarez@gmail.com.

Pulse

Pulse is a college ministry of South Bay Church that meets on the San Jose State University (SJSU) campus.

Our vision at Pulse is to Come Alive and make Christ Known. Our hope is that as you connect with God through our community, you would Come Alive to the life and purpose God has for you. As we experience this new life, we are compelled to share the good news we’ve received and and desire to Make Him Known so that others may experience the Love that comes from God.

What to Expect

Pulse is for college students. Whether you go to SJSU or another campus, you are always welcome to join us! Thursday Night Live (TNL) is our weekly large group gathering that meets on Thursday nights at 7:30 pm in the Spartan Memorial Chapel at SJSU. TNLs are where we hangout, worship together, and hear relevant and applicable teaching.

We have lots of other activities and opportunities for people to get connected, serve, and become a part of our community. Join us!

Core

Core is a South Bay supported college ministry located at Santa Clara University. The purpose of Core is to glorify God through facilitating a Christ-centered environment for students to be transformed by the Holy Spirit. We are focused on impacting the Santa Clara campus through the gospel of grace. We desire to see students’ lives become living testimonies of Jesus through Bible study, prayer, and fellowship.

What to Expect

Visit us on Tuesday nights at Nightlife, our weekly all-fellowship meeting. We meet at 7:30 pm in Kennedy Commons for worship, prayer, and biblical teaching. We would love for you to join us, regardless of which college you attend!
